Glad to see this topic getting some attention. GT Software's Ivory provides a similar (if not more expanmsive) value prop in offering a true orcehstration engine / tool that covers niot just CICS, but IMS, CA IDMS, CA IDEAL, Natural, and data.

Essentially, Ivory enables top-down modeling of mainframe-based services that cut across all the mainfrmae subsystems.

The resulting services can then be run under zOS, or zLinux -- offering MIPS-relief for the new services.

Check out the website - www.gtsoftware.com - to see more about Ivory
