[...] There’s some nice stuff in this release but it is the thoughtful integration with business rules that most struck me. More, as I said, to come. Other bloggers have taken a look at this release and associated news include Bruce Silver and Sandy Kemsley. [...]

I am impressed with how well Sandy has described the motivations behind the program and its key elements.

I would like to emphasize that Savvion is expanding its BPM product offering aggressively. It is also expanding the sales and R&D team focused on it. The Extended BPM (as Savvion refers to its new set of business process products) will continue to be Savvion's flagship product offering supported by end-to-end comprehensive services offering.

Savvion has created a separate organization for each key application area (Communication and Financial Services for now), as well as for its Business Solutions Alliance Program to ensure that its growing EBPM business is not affected adversely by its vertical expansion plans.

For years Savvion has been *the* BPM company, going forward, due to its expanded business process related products, services, and solutions, it will be *the* business process company.

Ajay, I agree (and reported on) the enhancements in your product. However, it appears to me that your marketing -- and possibly your sales -- efforts are strongly focused on the vertical market applications.

Sandy is correct in her assessment about Savvion’s vertical expansion strategy. Savvion has launched Business Solutions Alliance Program to collaborate with partners and customers to bring critical business process applications to market. But as she has noted that we are expanding the product horizontally too, what we call an Extended BPM. By no means we are “betting the whole farm” on our vertical strategy, we have a separate new organization building the vertical solutions practice and we are very much committed to deliver the best in class horizontal Extended BPM products and leading the market with innovation.
