  • GenderAnalyzer – Determine if a homepage is written by a man or woman – According to GenderAnalyzer, my blog is written by a man. If I could just find the lazy SOB, I'd get him to post more when I'm busy. Seriously, doesn't this just help to institutionalize gender biases that says that someone writing about technology must be a man? How about a bit of syntax or writing style analysis, rather than just brute-force keyword tagging? By the way, Brenda Michelson and Lauren Cooney are also men, according to this.

    Also good to point out, that the mechanism behind this was voted as assuming the wrong gender 44% of the time. Interesting indeed. /LC
